Export, Integrations & Account
Which export formats are available?
Open a processed episode and click Export to send it to one of these destinations:
| Destination | What you get |
|---|---|
| Notion | A page in the Notion database you choose |
| Readwise Reader | A document in your Reader library |
| Obsidian | An Obsidian-flavored Markdown file |
| Logseq | A Logseq-flavored Markdown file |
| Markdown | A Markdown file |
| A PDF document | |
| XMind | The mind map as an XMind file |
| SRT | Transcript subtitles with timestamps |
Every destination can export a translation, either on its own or alongside the original text. Some destinations have extra options, such as including the mind map, transcript, or show notes, or grouping the transcript by outline. Export requires a subscription.
Clips have their own export options: Markdown, Notion, and Readwise. See What are Clips?
How do I connect Notion or Readwise?
Go to Settings > Connections and connect your Notion or Readwise account. After that, choose Notion or Reader from the Export menu on any processed episode.
To export an episode as soon as it’s processed, choose Process & Export instead of AI Process. Podwise exports it to Notion or Reader automatically when processing is done, even if you close the page. Track these exports in Export Tasks on the Plan & Billing page.
How do I use Obsidian or Logseq?
Obsidian and Logseq don’t need a connection. Export downloads a Markdown file formatted for that app, which you then add to your vault or graph. In the mobile app, choose Obsidian from the share menu after saving.
To display the mind map correctly, install the Enhancing Mindmap plugin for Obsidian or the Logseq Markmap plugin for Logseq.
Why did exporting to Notion or Readwise stop working?
The connection may have expired, or you may have changed its permissions in Notion or Readwise. Go to Settings > Connections, disconnect the account, and connect it again.
For Notion, also make sure Podwise still has access to the database you export to.
Can I use Podwise with the API, MCP, or AI agents?
Yes, with a Pro or Enterprise plan:
- MCP Server: Use Podwise in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP clients.
- AI Agent: Use the CLI, agent skills, and a local MCP server.
- Open API: Build your own integrations with the REST API.
Create API access tokens in Settings > Developer. AI apps you’ve authorized through MCP are listed under Settings > Connections, where you can disconnect them at any time.
Who can see my content?
- Uploaded audio and private podcasts are visible only to you.
- Your Library, Clips, Lists, and Ask AI history belong to your account. Others can see a Clip or List only if you share its link.
- AI content for public podcast episodes is shared. Once a public episode is processed, other Podwise users can read its summary and transcript too.
How do I reset my password?
If you’re signed in, go to Settings > Account and click Reset Password. If you can’t sign in, click Forgot Password? on the sign-in page and follow the email instructions.
If you sign in with Google, Apple, GitHub, or an email link, you don’t need a password.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account and click Delete Account, then enter your email address to confirm.
- If your subscription renews automatically, including a free trial that will convert to a paid plan, cancel it first. See How do I cancel or resume my subscription?
- If your subscription is already canceled but still active, you can delete your account right away. The rest of your current billing period is forfeited.
- Deleting your account permanently removes your account and related data, and can’t be undone. Records we must keep for legal and accounting purposes, such as transactions and invoices, are retained.
