Getting Started

What is Podwise?

Podwise is an AI learning tool for podcast listeners. It turns episodes into structured knowledge you can read, search, and revisit, instead of scrubbing through hours of audio.

For each processed episode, Podwise generates:

  • Summary with chapters and key Q&A
  • Mindmap of the episode’s structure
  • Transcript with speaker labels and timestamps
  • Keywords, Highlights, and Shownotes

You can also ask questions across podcasts with Ask AI, chat with a single episode, translate content, save key moments as Clips, and send everything to your note-taking apps.

Can I use Podwise for free?

Every monthly and annual subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, whether you subscribe on the web or in the app, so you can try every feature before you are billed. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. One-time purchase plans don’t include a trial. See How does the 7-day free trial work? for details.

Without an active subscription, you can still browse and search podcasts, but you can’t process new episodes or open AI content for episodes you haven’t unlocked before. Compare what each plan includes on the plan comparison page .

Which platforms is Podwise available on?

  • Web: app.podwise.ai  works in any modern browser and is optimized for mobile. You can add it to your home screen as a web app (PWA).
  • iOS: Download Podwise from the App Store .
  • Android: Download the APK from podwise.ai . A Google Play release is in progress.

Your account, subscription, Library, and playback progress are shared across all platforms.

Which podcast sources does Podwise support?

  • Podcast search: Podwise indexes podcasts from Apple Podcasts, so most public shows are already searchable.
  • RSS feeds: Import any valid podcast RSS feed, including private feeds.
  • OPML files: Import many podcasts at once from another podcast app.
  • YouTube: Import a channel or a single video.
  • Xiaoyuzhou (小宇宙): Import a podcast or an episode by its link.
  • Your own audio: Upload .mp3, .wav, or .m4a files.

RSS and OPML imports and audio uploads require a subscription. See Processing & Importing for step-by-step guides.

Which languages does Podwise support?

Podwise processes and summarizes episodes in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Czech, and Hindi.

You can also translate an episode’s AI content into any of these languages. See How do I translate an episode?

How do I sign in?

Go to app.podwise.ai  and choose one of these sign-in methods:

  • Google, Apple, or GitHub
  • Email and password
  • A magic link or one-time code sent to your email

Use the same method on every device to reach the same account. If you sign in with a different method and email address, Podwise creates a separate account, and your subscription won’t appear there.
